Interoperability assessment is different and in many ways more rigid than application assessment. Application assessment is exclusively about an implementation's relationship to the RCT Extension Profile and the nature of conformance and any deviations. Interoperability is about the successful interchange among sets of implementations and the level of interoperability profile that is identifiable.
