  2013-03-12 Partly deployment, partly more, there is also Make and the common POSIX layer for many things.  There is a good Wikipedia page on Make.
  2013-03-11 The deployment model comes up here.  I think that needs its own description and I need to get back to the b64 work relative to that.  I need to consider moving that project to nfoWorks too.  It might be good to do that rather than restructure on the TROST project.
  2013-03-11 I think one challenge is to make *nix work-alikes for native Windows usage, compatible with cmd.exe, maybe powershell, and also Take-Command.  With luck the *nix work-alikes would actually be native applications.
  2013-03-11 I definitely want to avoid cygwin and worse as adapters for building software on Windows.   I won't be doing that.  I don't mind making sure that code is portable to clang and *nix/*BSD, but I don't want to shoe-horn portability into that much straight-jacket.  I also want more rationale prerequisites for building on and for different architectures/platforms. 
  2013-03-11 A more-elaborate exercise might be the enhanced portability of Clang/LLVM.  Although the Miser Project might be easier still.
  2013-03-11 A valuable case of this toolcraft could be the development of components for the various KECCEK profiles that will be conceived, identified, documented, prototyped, hardened, and verified.
  2013-03-09 Binding checks are an important part of some of these, especially for platform compatibility (x86, x64, SIMD, etc.)

2012-08-31		 2012-08-18 Confirm that the VS 2012 Express for Windows 8 VC++ compiler still compiles to x64 as well as x86 (and Windows RT), with appropriate recognition of limitations for Windows RT.
  2012-08-18 Create a structure for platform independence based on ability to map to WinRT and build with any free C++ compiler including the VS 2012 Express Edition VC++ compiler.
